What a year!

It started above 10,000 feet in the mountains near Leadville, CO – moved to the snowy red rock deserts of Utah – then up to the cliff dwellings of Mesa Verde – home for a short but sweet visit to my native Florida – and is wrapping up beach-side in the gorgeous Dominican Republic. Side-trips to St. Louis and all over the American Southwest added even more adventures to this awesome life of mine.

When I came up with the idea for this blog post I thought for sure it would be easy to choose a few photos that highlight the year. But it turns out I started with over 30 different photos! I’ve narrowed it down to my favorite 12.

Some I love because they were beautifully taken, some I love because they were taken in beautiful places, and some I love because they feature beautiful people.
