Deep in the Mexican jungle, where the mountains meet the plains, there was once a great city of the Mayan civilization. Today it is steeped in the vines and greens of Chiapas – the southernmost state in Mexico. As much as I am a fan of the written word, sometimes they are simply not enough. That 6 hour bus ride was so worth it.
