Yum Yum Thistle

Currently, the park is covered in a non-native species called canada thistle. If you’ve never seen them before they are quite alien looking:

Every time I look at them I think of Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh, and his love for the tasty purple bud.

Just one more?

Sometimes I have to resist the urge to take a chomp.

  1. Thanks Mariana for the guided tour of the Balcony House today (I was one of the folks in the morning tour). Really awesome place! So interesting to see how people used to live hundreds of years ago in such an impressive place… I’ll bring back to Europe with me very good memories!

  2. Bruce – you are correct! That’s what I get for writing late nights after a super-hot week. Correction made, thanks 🙂

Franco – Glad you had a good time. Thanks for finding me on here!
